آيات AYAT.ONE
وَاِذۡ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبۡعَثَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ مَنۡ يَّسُوۡمُهُمۡ سُوۡٓءَ الۡعَذَابِ​ ؕ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيۡعُ الۡعِقَابِ ​ ​ۖۚ وَاِنَّهٗ لَـغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ۝
Wa-ith taaththana rabbukalayabAAathanna AAalayhim ila yawmi alqiyamati manyasoomuhum soo-a alAAathabi inna rabbaka lasareeAAu alAAiqabiwa-innahu laghafoorun raheem
And mention when your Lord declared that He would surely continue to send upon them until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the worst torment. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.

Theme of the Ayat

The Ultimate Oppression: God's decree of perpetual tyranny over them.

The Insight

God decreed that they would be oppressed by tyrants who would inflict terrible suffering upon them until the Day of Resurrection. **Acknowledge the self-inflicted curse.** Rebellion against God's law results in continuous subjugation to wicked rulers.
