Surah Al-An'am 6:147
فَاِنۡ كَذَّبُوۡكَ فَقُلْ رَّبُّكُمۡ ذُوۡ رَحۡمَةٍ وَّاسِعَةٍ​ ۚ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَاۡسُهٗ عَنِ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ‏ ۝
Fa-in kaththabooka faqul rabbukum thoorahmatin wasiAAatin wala yuraddu ba/suhuAAani alqawmi almujrimeen
So if they deny you, O Muḥammad, say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."

If they deny the message, God is merciful and will punish the wicked with a painful punishment. **Balance hope and fear.** Always seek God's mercy, which is vast, but remain vigilant against sin, knowing God's justice is decisive.
