Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Solemn Covenant: The marriage contract is a serious, inviolable agreement. |

The Insight

The marriage contract is affirmed as a 'solemn covenant' (*mithaqun ghaleez*). **Treat marriage with utmost gravity.** Recognize the marriage contract as a sacred spiritual, legal, and social bond before God. Its sanctity should prevent casual abuse or misuse of the contract. |
