Surah Al-A'raf (7:198)

وَاِنۡ تَدۡعُوۡهُمۡ اِلَى الۡهُدٰى لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡا ؕ وَتَرٰٮهُمۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَيۡكَ وَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ‏ ۝

Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layasmaAAoo watarahum yanthuroona ilayka wahumla yubsiroon

And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see.

Theme of the Ayat

The Blindness of the Deniers: The idols are blind and incapable of hearing.

The Insight

The idols are blind. Even if you call them, they cannot hear you. **Avoid communication with the spiritually deaf.** Focus your efforts on communicating with receptive hearts, not those who are spiritually inert.
