آيات AYAT.ONE
فَلَمَّا نَسُوۡا مَا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖۤ اَنۡجَيۡنَا الَّذِيۡنَ يَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ السُّوۡۤءِ وَاَخَذۡنَا الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا بِعَذَابٍۭ بَـِٕيۡسٍۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡسُقُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroobihi anjayna allatheena yanhawna AAani assoo-iwaakhathna allatheena thalamoobiAAathabin ba-eesin bima kanoo yafsuqoon
And when they i.e., those advised forgot that by which they had been reminded, We saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged, with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying.

Theme of the Ayat

The Consequence of Rebellion: The destruction of the transgressors and the salvation of the righteous.

The Insight

God destroyed the transgressors with a terrible punishment and saved those who forbade the evil. **Seek rescue through reform.** Active opposition to corruption is the path to spiritual security. Silence in the face of transgression is spiritual participation.
