Surah Al-A'raf 7:147
وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ الۡاٰخِرَةِ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ​ؕ هَلۡ يُجۡزَوۡنَ اِلَّا مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Wallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina waliqa-i al-akhiratihabitat aAAmaluhum hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloon
Those who denied Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter - their deeds have become worthless. Are they recompensed except for what they used to do?

The Worthless Deeds: The futility of deeds done in rejection of the Hereafter.

The Insight

The deeds of those who reject the Hereafter are utterly worthless. **Ground purpose in eternity.** All actions are only validated by the certainty of the Hereafter. Deeds performed without this conviction are spiritually void.
