Surah Al-A'raf 7:139
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَۤاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمۡ فِيۡهِ وَبٰطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏  ۝
Inna haola-i mutabbarun mahum feehi wabatilun ma kanoo yaAAmaloon
Indeed, those worshippers - destroyed is that in which they are engaged, and worthless is whatever they were doing."

Musa's Rebuke: Condemning their desire for falsehood after witnessing truth.

The Insight

Musa severely rebuked their desire for falsehood after God had preferred them over all nations. **Challenge spiritual short-sightedness.** Do not let temporary temptation cause you to forget the immense blessings and favors God has already bestowed upon you.
