AYAT.ONE
Wama alhayatu addunyailla laAAibun walahwun waladdaru al-akhiratikhayrun lillatheena yattaqoona afala taAAqiloon
And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allāh, so will you not reason?

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Illusion of Worldly Life: The transient nature of play and amusement.

The Insight

The worldly life is nothing but play and amusement, and the home of the Hereafter is far better for the pious. **Re-evaluate your priorities.** Use your time and energy to build toward the eternal home, not the temporary distractions of this world. Worldly focus is spiritual immaturity.
