Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their own sons. Those who will lose themselves in the Hereafter do not believe.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Recognition of Truth: The people of the Scripture recognized the Prophet as they recognized their own sons. |

The Insight

Those who received the Scripture recognized the Prophet as clearly as they recognized their own sons, yet they concealed the truth. **Do not let malice blind knowledge.** Willful denial of truth, even when it is perfectly clear to the mind, is a severe corruption rooted in self-interest.
