Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:93
لَـيۡسَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيۡمَا طَعِمُوۡۤا اِذَا مَا اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاَحۡسَنُوۡا​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏  ۝
Laysa AAala allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati junahun feemataAAimoo itha ma ittaqaw waamanoowaAAamiloo assalihati thumma ittaqaw waamanoothumma ittaqaw waahsanoo wallahu yuhibbualmuhsineen
There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness any blame concerning what they have eaten in the past if they now fear Allāh and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allāh and believe, and then fear Allāh and do good; and Allāh loves the doers of good.

Theme of the Ayat

The Pardon for the Past: No blame for past actions, provided there is present sincerity.

The Insight

There is no blame on those who believed and performed righteous deeds for what they may have consumed in the past, provided they now fear God and act righteously. **Embrace clean slates.** God forgives past mistakes once sincere repentance and commitment to piety are established. Focus on present and future righteousness, not past guilt.
