AYAT.ONE
Walaw kanoo yu/minoona billahiwannabiyyi wama onzila ilayhi ma ittakhathoohumawliyaa walakinna katheeran minhum fasiqoon
And if they had believed in Allāh and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Consequence of Alliance: God's wrath and damnation for unrighteous alliance.

The Insight

If they had truly believed in God and the Prophet, they would not have taken the disbelievers as close allies, thereby incurring God's wrath. **Trust in God's judgment over expediency.** Unrighteous alliances compromise faith and lead to divine abandonment.
