AYAT.ONE

And judge, O Muḥammad, between them by what Allāh has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allāh has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allāh only intends to afflict them with some of their own sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Command to Arbitrate: Judging by God's law despite external pressure.

The Insight

The Prophet is commanded to judge between people by what God revealed, and not to follow their whims or deviations. **Prioritize divine law over public opinion.** Moral and legal standards must be dictated by revelation, not by the shifting desires or political pressure of the people.
