Indeed, those whom the angels take in death while wronging themselves - the angels will say, "In what condition were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." They the angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allāh spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Consequences of Neglect: The fate of those who fail to migrate from oppression.

The Insight

Those who neglect to migrate from a land of oppression (when capable) and die in that state will be questioned by the angels. **Do not accept moral helplessness.** If you are unable to practice your faith or enact justice in your current environment, you have a moral duty to seek a better place where truth can thrive.
