آيات AYAT.ONE
وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا لِـيُـطَاعَ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ ​ؕ وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ اِذْ ظَّلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ جَآءُوۡكَ فَاسۡتَغۡفَرُوا اللّٰهَ وَاسۡتَغۡفَرَ لَـهُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ لَوَجَدُوا اللّٰهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيۡمًا‏ ۝
Wama arsalna min rasoolin illaliyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfarooAllaha wastaghfara lahumu arrasoolulawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheema
And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allāh. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, O Muḥammad, and asked forgiveness of Allāh and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allāh Accepting of Repentance and Merciful.

Theme of the Ayat

The Purpose of the Messenger: He is only to be obeyed with God's permission.

The Insight

The Messenger was only sent to be obeyed by God's permission. **Accept the chain of command.** Recognize that the Prophet's authority is delegated by God. Obedience to the Messenger is direct obedience to God.
