But repentance is not accepted of those who continue to do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Refused Repentance: Repentance is rejected if delayed until the moment of death. |

The Insight

Repentance is not accepted from those who continue in sin until the moment of death, nor from those who die as disbelievers. **Live consciously today.** Do not rely on a last-minute spiritual cleanup. Repentance must be a living, intentional decision made while one is still healthy and capable of moral change. |
