Theme of the Ayat

The Double Test: Trials of wealth and speech require patience and piety.

The Insight

Believers will be tested in their wealth, their lives, and through harmful speech from the People of the Book and polytheists. Prepare for comprehensive testing. View financial loss, personal hardship, and slander as predictable parts of life. Your response must be one of patience and unwavering adherence to piety.
