آيات AYAT.ONE
لَقَدۡ سَمِعَ اللّٰهُ قَوۡلَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ فَقِيۡرٌ وَّنَحۡنُ اَغۡنِيَآءُ ​ۘ سَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَالُوۡا وَقَتۡلَهُمُ الۡاَنۡۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقٍّ ۙۚ وَّنَقُوۡلُ ذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ الۡحَرِيۡقِ‏ ۝
Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheenaqaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaonsanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu al-anbiyaabighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathabaalhareeq
Allāh has certainly heard the statement of those Jews who said, "Indeed, Allāh is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

The Arrogance of Scorn: Mocking God's poverty by their own wealth.

The Insight

The arrogance of those who mocked God, saying, 'God is poor, and we are rich,' is severely condemned. Check your attitude toward poverty. Never let your financial success lead you to scorn the poor or to think that you are independent of God's provision.
