Surah Al-Imran (3:170)

فَرِحِيۡنَ بِمَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ ۙ وَيَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ بِالَّذِيۡنَ لَمۡ يَلۡحَقُوۡا بِهِمۡ مِّنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡۙ اَ لَّا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُوۡنَۘ‏ ۝

Fariheena bima atahumuAllahu min fadlihi wayastabshiroona billatheenalam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim alla khawfunAAalayhim wala hum yahzanoon

Rejoicing in what Allāh has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those to be martyred after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

The Joy of the Martyrs: Rejoicing in God's grace and the prospect of their brethren.

The Insight

They are joyful in God's favor and look forward to the arrival of their brethren who are yet to come. Find comfort in the hereafter. When facing great loss, focus on the certainty of reunion and the joy of those who have attained martyrdom.
