Those who said about their brothers while sitting at home, "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful."

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Denial of Fate: Hypocrites' words about those who died.

The Insight

The hypocrites said of those killed, 'If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed,' denying God's decree. Reject external noise during grief. Do not let negative voices or regretful speculation distract you from accepting God's decree during loss.
