Yes, on the contrary, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Rule of Consequence: Evil deeds fully encompass the perpetrator.

The Insight

This confirms the rule of ultimate justice: those who earn evil, and whose sins fully encompass them, are the companions of the Fire. Understand the gravity of sin. Recognize that repeated, encompassing bad deeds (habitual corruption, persistent injustice) can lead to a state where the soul is overwhelmed by its own negativity, making repentance almost impossible.
