Surah Al-Baqarah 2:69
قَالُوا ادۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنۡ لَّنَا مَا لَوۡنُهَا ​ؕ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوۡلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفۡرَآءُۙ فَاقِعٌ لَّوۡنُهَا تَسُرُّ النّٰظِرِيۡنَ‏  ۝
Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma lawnuha qala innahuyaqoolu innaha baqaratun safrao faqiAAunlawnuha tasurru annathireen
They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color." He said, "He says, 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color - pleasing to the observers.'"

The Specificity of the Test: The answer finally given about the cow's distinctiveness.

The Insight

The prophet finally specified the cow must be bright yellow, pleasing to the onlookers. Recognize when time runs out. The longer one delays obedience through questioning, the more difficult the requirement often becomes. Immediate obedience is always simpler and easier than delayed compliance.
