آيات AYAT.ONE
قَالُوا ادۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنۡ لَّنَا مَا هِىَ​ؕ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوۡلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا فَارِضٌ وَّلَا بِكۡرٌؕ عَوَانٌۢ بَيۡنَ ذٰلِكَ​ؕ فَافۡعَلُوۡا مَا تُؤۡمَرُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya qala innahu yaqooluinnaha baqaratun la faridun walabikrun AAawanun bayna thalika fafAAaloo matu/maroon
They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is." Moses said, "Allāh says, 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so do what you are commanded."

The Insight

Despite the prophet's answer, they continued to ask for more specific, unnecessary details. Practice intellectual economy. Learn to distinguish between essential knowledge and pointless inquiry. Too much focus on trivial details can drain energy and distract from the core moral purpose of the command.
