Theme of the Ayat

The Consequence of Disobedience: Punishment for intentional rebellion.

The Insight

Due to their purposeful rebellion and changing the divine words to mockery, God sent down a plague as a consequence of their sin. Be mindful of collective consequence. Personal acts of disobedience or corruption can sometimes lead to wide-ranging communal repercussions, reminding us that societal well-being is linked to collective moral conduct.
