The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries i.e., cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Parable of the Deaf: Unbelief is like shouting at deaf animals.

The Insight

The example of the disbelievers is like shouting at animals who only hear a call but understand nothing. Adjust your teaching method. Recognize that communicating spiritual truth requires patience and tailoring the message to the listener's spiritual receptivity. Continuous, aggressive argument is often futile for the willfully deaf.
