آيات AYAT.ONE
وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ اٰمِنُوۡا كَمَاۤ اٰمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوۡاۤ اَنُؤۡمِنُ كَمَاۤ اٰمَنَ السُّفَهَآءُ​ ؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ السُّفَهَآءُ وَلٰـكِنۡ لَّا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo kamaamana annasu qaloo anu/minu kamaamana assufahao ala innahum humu assufahaowalakin la yaAAlamoon
And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know it not.

Theme of the Ayat

The Arrogance of Intellect: Despising sincerity as naivety or foolishness.

The Insight

Hypocrites scorn genuine believers, asking if they should adopt the faith of 'fools'. Guard against intellectual pride. Humility, kindness, and devotion are often dismissed as weakness by the worldly. Remember that true wisdom lies in sincere belief, not clever cynicism, arrogance, or materialism.
