O you who have believed, say not to Allāh's Messenger, "Rāʿinā" but say, "Unẓurnā" and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

Theme of the Ayat

The Etiquette of Address: Avoiding ambiguous or disrespectful language.

The Insight

Believers are commanded to use clear, respectful language (saying *Unzurna*) when addressing the Prophet, instead of the ambiguous term (*Ra'ina*) used by the disbelievers to mock him. Language matters. Be mindful of the words you use, especially with elders, teachers, or leaders. Ambiguous or disrespectful language, even if subtle, reveals inner attitude and can be a spiritual poison.
