Surah Al-A'raf (7:99)

اَفَاَمِنُوۡا مَكۡرَ اللّٰهِ ۚ فَلَا يَاۡمَنُ مَكۡرَ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الۡقَوۡمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ‏ ۝

Afaaminoo makra Allahi falaya/manu makra Allahi illa alqawmu alkhasiroon

Then, did they feel secure from the plan of Allāh? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allāh except the losing people.

The Certainty of Justice: Only the losers feel safe from God's perfect justice.

The Insight

Only the losing, destined people feel safe from God's perfect justice. **Balance hope with fear.** True piety requires a healthy fear of God's consequences, preventing the arrogant assumption of immunity.
