Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - to those who believed among them, "Do you actually know that Ṣāliḥ is sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which he was sent, are believers."

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Arrogance of the Elite: The arrogant leaders rejected the poor believers.

The Insight

The arrogant leaders rejected the poor believers, questioning their faith in Salih. **Reject the judgment of wealth.** Do not let social status or wealth dictate the validity of a person's faith. Arrogance blinds the elite to truth.
