Theme of the Ayat

The Warning Against Sins: Avoiding all sins, both apparent and hidden, leads to accountability.

The Insight

Believers are commanded to abandon all sins, whether apparent or hidden, as all will be fully accounted for. **Practice total moral cleanliness.** Be vigilant over both your public actions (apparent sins) and your private thoughts and intentions (hidden sins). Sincerity requires guarding both.
