وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ مَلَكٌ​ ؕ وَلَوۡ اَنۡزَلۡـنَا مَلَـكًا لَّـقُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنۡظَرُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Waqaloo lawla onzila AAalayhimalakun walaw anzalna malakan laqudiya al-amruthumma la yuntharoon
They say, “Why has no ˹visible˺ angel come with him?” Had We sent down an angel, the matter would have certainly been settled ˹at once˺, and they would have never been given more time ˹to repent˺.

The Human Nature of the Messenger: Rejecting the Messenger because he wasn't an angel.

The Insight

They rejected the Messenger because he was a man and demanded an angel be sent with him. **Accept the Messenger's humanity.** Do not let the human limitations of a spiritual guide cause you to reject his divine message. God chooses messengers from among mankind to serve as relatable examples.
