آيات AYAT.ONE
Surah Al-An'am 6:116
وَاِنۡ تُطِعۡ اَكۡثَرَ مَنۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ يُضِلُّوۡكَ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ​ؕ اِنۡ يَّتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَاِنۡ هُمۡ اِلَّا يَخۡرُصُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Wa-in tutiAA akthara man fee al-ardiyudillooka AAan sabeeli Allahi in yattabiAAoona illaaththanna wa-in hum illa yakhrusoon
And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allāh. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but misjudging.

Theme of the Ayat

The Danger of Democracy: Following the majority will lead to straying from God's path.

The Insight

If you follow the majority of people on earth, they will lead you astray, as they follow conjecture and lie. **Value truth over popularity.** Do not use public opinion or majority consensus as a measure of truth. The path of righteousness is often lonely and requires intellectual independence.
