And they swear by Allāh their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with i.e., from Allāh." And what will make you perceive that even if it i.e., a sign came, they would not believe.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Futility of Miracles: Deniers swear to believe if a sign came, but God knows they would not.

The Insight

The deniers swore solemnly that if a sign came to them, they would believe, but God confirms that even if a sign came, they would not believe. **Judge by character, not promises.** True faith is rooted in conviction, not a need for overwhelming evidence. Recognize that those who have a perpetual habit of denial are not swayed by miracles.
