Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:96
اُحِلَّ لَـكُمۡ صَيۡدُ الۡبَحۡرِ وَطَعَامُهٗ مَتَاعًا لَّـكُمۡ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ​ ۚ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ صَيۡدُ الۡبَـرِّ مَا دُمۡتُمۡ حُرُمًا​ ؕ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِىۡۤ اِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Ohilla lakum saydu albahriwataAAamuhu mataAAan lakum walissayyaratiwahurrima AAalaykum saydu albarri ma dumtum hurumanwattaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoon
Lawful to you is game from the sea and its food as provision for you and the travelers, but forbidden to you is game from the land as long as you are in the state of iḥrām. And fear Allāh to whom you will be gathered.

Hunting and consuming sea game is made lawful as provision for travelers and residents. **Appreciate lawful abundance.** God provides vast lawful resources. The contrast with the prohibition on land hunting during *Ihrām* highlights the temporary nature of sacred restriction.
