Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are standing on nothing until you uphold the law of the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord i.e., the Qur’ān." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Futility of Partial Faith: True adherence means following the full revelation.

The Insight

They are told that their faith is baseless unless they uphold the full revelation of the Torah, Gospel, and Qur'an. **Reject selective faith.** True religion demands submission to the entirety of God's final guidance, rejecting the temptation to cling only to familiar, outdated, or convenient parts of revelation.
