آيات AYAT.ONE

So you see those in whose hearts is disease i.e., hypocrisy hastening into association with them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allāh will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Hypocrisy of Alliance: Rushing to form alliances out of fear.

The Insight

The hypocrites are exposed for rushing to ally with the People of the Book, fearing some future disaster. **Trust God over worldly security.** Do not let fear of economic or political loss drive you to compromise your faith through dishonest alliances. God is the ultimate provider of security.
