آيات AYAT.ONE
Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:39
فَمَنۡ تَابَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ظُلۡمِهٖ وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَتُوۡبُ عَلَيۡهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ۝
Faman taba min baAAdi thulmihiwaaslaha fa-inna Allaha yatoobu AAalayhiinna Allaha ghafoorun raheem
But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms, indeed, Allāh will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

The Acceptance of Repentance: Forgiveness for the thief who repents and reforms.

The Insight

If a thief repents after the penalty is enforced and reforms their life, God is forgiving and merciful. **Prioritize reform after justice.** The legal punishment cleanses the temporal sin, and subsequent sincere repentance opens the door to God's ultimate spiritual pardon.
