AYAT.ONE
La-in basatta ilayya yadakalitaqtulanee ma ana bibasitin yadiyailayka li-aqtulaka innee akhafu Allaha rabba alAAalameen
If you should raise your hand toward me to kill me - I shall not raise my hand toward you to kill you. Indeed, I fear Allāh, Lord of the worlds.

Theme of the Ayat

The Superiority of Innocence: Abel's refusal to retaliate, fearing God. |

The Insight

Abel declared that even if his brother raised his hand to kill him, he would not retaliate, for he feared God. **Choose moral high ground.** When facing unjust aggression, choose restraint and fear of God over retaliation. Innocence before God is the ultimate defense. |
