O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you the religion after a period of suspension of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allāh is over all things competent.

Theme of the Ayat

The Prophetic Interval: The sending of the final Messenger after a period of no revelation. |

The Insight

The Qur'an is sent after a period (*fatra*) where no messengers were sent, ensuring no one can claim ignorance. **Acknowledge the end of excuses.** The Prophet Muhammad serves as the final, absolute proof, removing all justification for denying God's guidance. |
