آيات AYAT.ONE
فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِمۡ مِّيۡثَاقَهُمۡ لَعَنّٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا قُلُوۡبَهُمۡ قٰسِيَةً​ ۚ يُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡـكَلِمَ عَنۡ مَّوَاضِعِهٖ​ۙ وَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰى خَآٮِٕنَةٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا مِّنۡهُمۡ​ فَاعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَاصۡفَحۡ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏ ۝
Fabima naqdihim meethaqahumlaAAannahum wajaAAalna quloobahum qasiyatanyuharrifoona alkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wanasoo haththanmimma thukkiroo bihi wala tazalu tattaliAAuAAala kha-inatin minhum illa qaleelan minhumfaAAfu AAanhum wasfah inna Allahayuhibbu almuhsineen
So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hardened. They distort words from their proper places i.e., usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook their misdeeds. Indeed, Allāh loves the doers of good.

Theme of the Ayat

The Consequence of Covenant Breach: Hardening of hearts, distortion of scripture, and perpetual betrayal.

The Insight

Because they broke the covenant, God hardened their hearts and they distorted the meaning of the Scripture. **Guard against spiritual rigidity.** Failure to uphold moral duties leads to spiritual insensitivity. Guard your heart through sincere repentance to prevent it from becoming hard and incapable of receiving truth.
