Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:11
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ اَنۡ يَّبۡسُطُوۡۤا اِلَيۡكُمۡ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنۡكُمۡ​ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ​ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith hammaqawmun an yabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum fakaffa aydiyahumAAankum wattaqoo Allaha waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoon
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allāh upon you when a people determined to extend their hands in aggression against you, but He withheld their hands from you; and fear Allāh. And upon Allāh let the believers rely.

The Favor of Protection: Remembering God's intervention when enemies plotted harm.

The Insight

Believers are reminded of the favor of God who restrained the hands of their enemies when they plotted aggression. **Trust in God's defense.** In times of threat or danger, recognize that your ultimate protection comes directly from God's intervention, not human vigilance alone.
