Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:100
قُلْ لَّا يَسۡتَوِى الۡخَبِيۡثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوۡ اَعۡجَبَكَ كَثۡرَةُ الۡخَبِيۡثِ​ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ يٰۤاُولِى الۡاَ لۡبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‏ ۝
Qul la yastawee alkhabeethu wattayyibuwalaw aAAjabaka kathratu alkhabeethi fattaqoo Allahaya olee al-albabi laAAallakum tuflihoon
Say, "Not equal are the evil and the good, although the abundance of evil might impress you." So fear Allāh, O you of understanding, that you may be successful.

The Contrast of Quality: Good and evil are not equal, regardless of quantity.

The Insight

The good and the evil are not equal, even if the abundance of evil appeals to you. **Choose quality over quantity.** Do not be swayed by the popularity or abundance of corrupt trends in society. Goodness is intrinsically superior, even when it is rare or challenging.
