O believers! Honour your obligations. All grazing livestock has been made lawful to you—except what is hereby announced to you and hunting while on pilgrimage. Indeed, Allah commands what He wills.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Sanctity of Covenants: Fulfilling all obligations, both divine and human.

The Insight

Believers are commanded to fulfill their covenants and promises (*uqud*), encompassing all agreements, oaths, and contracts (marriage, business, political). **Integrity in all commitments.** Treat every agreement—with God (prayer, fasting) and with people (contracts, oaths)—as a sacred, binding promise. Your personal and professional reliability is a direct measure of your faith.
