Surah Al-Ahqaf (46:18)

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡقَوۡلُ فِىۡۤ اُمَمٍ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ مِّنَ الۡجِنِّ وَالۡاِنۡسِؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ‏ ۝

Ola-ika allatheena haqqaAAalayhimu alqawlu fee umamin qad khalat min qablihim minaaljinni wal-insi innahum kanoo khasireen

Those are the ones upon whom the word i.e., decree has come into effect, who will be among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they all were losers.
