Those who believe fight in the cause of Allāh, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of ṭāghūt. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.

Theme of the Ayat

The Two Types of Alliance: The source of struggle is the true authority.

The Insight

Believers fight in God's cause (guided by light), while disbelievers fight for the sake of evil authority (*Taghut*) (guided by darkness). **Choose your ultimate loyalty.** Your actions in conflict (in business, social issues, or war) are determined by the authority you follow: the light of God's law or the darkness of corrupt power.
