Do not entrust the incapable ˹among your dependants˺ with your wealth which Allah has made a means of support for you—but feed and clothe them from it, and speak to them kindly.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Protection of the Weak-Minded: Not entrusting wealth to the incapable, but providing sustenance.

The Insight

Do not entrust financial assets to those incapable of managing them (the weak-minded or immature), but use that wealth to provide them with sustenance and clothing. **Balance protection and provision.** Protect the assets of those who cannot handle money (children, mentally incapable) from exploitation, while ensuring their dignity and needs are met from that wealth.
