آيات AYAT.ONE
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ اٰمِنُوۡا بِمَا نَزَّلۡنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ نَّـطۡمِسَ وُجُوۡهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِهَاۤ اَوۡ نَلۡعَنَهُمۡ كَمَا لَعَنَّاۤ اَصۡحٰبَ السَّبۡتِ​ؕ وَكَانَ اَمۡرُ اللّٰهِ مَفۡعُوۡلًا‏  ۝
Ya ayyuha allatheenaootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalnamusaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisawujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbarihaaw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna as-habaassabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoola
O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down to Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ), confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the matter i.e., decree of Allāh accomplished.

The Warning of Consequence: A warning against denying the messenger after clear signs.

The Insight

The People of the Book are warned that if they deny the Messenger after the evidence is clear, their faces may be disfigured. **Do not tempt divine punishment.** Rejecting clear, evident truth after being a recipient of revelation is a severe act that risks physical and spiritual punishment.
