Theme of the Ayat

The Conflict of Desires: God desires ease; the followers of desire wish for deviation. |

The Insight

God desires ease for you, but those who follow their illicit desires wish you to deviate greatly. **Recognize the spiritual battle.** God's commands are designed for your long-term benefit and ease, not difficulty. Be wary of advice that promotes moral license, as it stems from a desire to pull you into transgression. |
