Give orphans their wealth ˹when they reach maturity˺, and do not exchange your worthless possessions for their valuables, nor cheat them by mixing their wealth with your own. For this would indeed be a great sin.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Ethical Care of Orphans: Guarding their property and avoiding exploitation.

The Insight

Believers are commanded to give orphans their property justly, not mixing it with one's own or exchanging bad assets for their good ones. **Guard the vulnerable's assets.** Treat the property and financial future of orphans with the utmost sanctity and responsibility. Any exploitation of an orphan's wealth is deemed a major, destructive sin.
