Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Crime of False Accusation: Projecting one's crime onto the innocent.

The Insight

Whoever commits a sin and then falsely accuses an innocent person of it bears the burden of a compounded sin and slander. **Protect the innocent's reputation.** Never shift the blame for your mistakes onto an innocent person. This is a severe injustice that involves not just sin, but also malicious slander.
