Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of Allāh those who believe, seeking to make it seem deviant, while you are witnesses to the truth? And Allāh is not unaware of what you do."

Theme of the Ayat

The Blinding of Obstruction: Why do you prevent others from the truth?

The Insight

The People of the Book are questioned why they obstruct others from the path of God, seeking to distort it, despite witnessing the truth. Be a guide, not a barrier. Never use your influence or position to prevent others from finding or practicing sincere faith. Obstruction is a direct opposition to God's mission.
